One significant challenge in face-to-face classroom teaching is that teachers often remain unaware of students' doubts. When a subject is taught, students may generate thoughts and questions related to the concepts being presented. However, students often remain unaware of their knowledge gaps or have lack opportunities to ask questions. These unasked questions are crucial, not only for students to gain a clearer understanding of the concepts, but also for the teachers to identify areas where students face difficulties. To address this issue, Student-Question Driven Learning (SQDL) has been developed by researchers from IIT Bombay, as a teaching-learning strategy. SQDL actively engages students in question-posing activities during the learning process. This workshop provides hands-on practice with the SQDL strategy, offering educators the opportunity to experience its implementation. The workshop will focus on Everyday Computational Thinking (Everyday CT), a concept that empowers individuals in a technology-driven world to optimize their daily lives through computational thinking applied to everyday situations. SQDL helps participants deepen their teaching-learning skills and encourages the adoption of this strategy in their classrooms. Additionally, by learning Everyday CT as students, participants will enhance their understanding of how computational thinking can be integrated into real-world problem-solving.
