The SIG organized a two-hour panel discussion “Policy, Practices and Research on e-Learning in School Education / Higher Education” in the 19th International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2011) on December 2, 2011. The SIG invited seven panelists from Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong to make panel presentations and open discussion with around 30 participants for exchanging insights into the current situation and future direction in the policies, practices and research on technology transformed education in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on the school education and higher education sectors.
