The SIG organized a half-day panel discussion “Policy, Practices and Research into Technology Transformed Learning”, in the form of conference interactive event, in the 18th International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2010) on November 29, 2010. The SIG invited six academic researchers and government officials in the US, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore as panelists to make presentations on the policy, practices and research into technology transformed learning in their own regions. There were around 30 participants in this panel discussion for in-depth discussions about the relevant research contexts and future research directions in our research area in the Asia-Pacific region.
