Abstract:

The integration of Smart Technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI)-Ed, learning analytics, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mobile technology and 5G, robotics and IOT, into education has the potential to transform teaching and learning. However, the use of these technologies must be guided by effective and ethical policies to ensure the protection of student data and the promotion of equitable and effective educational outcomes. It will discuss the challenges and opportunities of integrating Smart Technologies into education systems, and how education policy can adapt to the changing landscape of technology. In conclusion, this webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of how education policy can promote the effective and ethical use of Smart Technologies in education. Attendees will gain insights into the policy considerations that need to be taken into account to ensure the successful integration of Smart Technologies into education systems, and learn from case studies and examples from around the world.
