The 8th APSCE International Conference on Computational Thinking and STEM Education 2024 (CTE-STEM 2024) is a highly anticipated event organized by the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) and hosted by the Beijing Normal University, China (BNU). Following the success of its predecessors, the conference aims to further advance the development of computational thinking (CT) education by promoting knowledge sharing, fostering discussions, and reaching consensus on key themes.

The conference program will offer a diverse range of activities including keynote speeches, invited talks, panel discussions, a teacher forum, and paper presentations. Accepted papers will be compiled in the official conference paper proceedings, which will be indexed in Scopus. Furthermore, selected special papers will be published in an exclusive volume by Springer, while teaching case papers will be published in Chinese by a Mainland China press.
